This year we’ve been aggressively expanding our network for better national connectivity and to increase our service footprint. In North America, we now have active services in 15 US states and 3 Canadian provinces.
This summer we will complete the expansion, at which point we will be able to deliver on-net capacity between any of our US, Canadian, European or Asian datacentres. For customers needing dedicated capacity between their clusters or need to connect to their existing facilities this is a simple procedure and unique to Delimiter.
Our New York facility is now connected back to London and Amsterdam and in turn to LINX and AmsIX. This is providing a direct 75ms route from many European networks straight into ours.
In addition, we’ve been connecting to many of the regional Internet exchanges to bolster our direct connectivity. We peer with all of the major content networks, most of the regional eyeball networks. By the end of summer most major networks will be directly peered.
How does this benefit you?
Minimal latency – Major networks like Google, Facebook, Akamai, Twitter, Apple and so on are directly peered. Many of our customers are running apps which need low latency to these networks – we’re less than 1ms from each of them.

If you are delivering content, being that close to the critical networks is a must. Losing milliseconds due to poor backhaul or unpredictable transit is far from optimal.
Data Centres
As one of our sister companies has now moved to their own facility in Atlanta, we’ve taken over their 10,000 SQF in downtown Atlanta. This allows us to deploy services at both our Atlanta facilities now to provide physical diversity.
Charlotte is now ready for early bird orders, later in this mail you’ll find some of our offers. Charlotte is directly connected to Atlanta and Herndon as well as local transit in Charlotte and Raleigh. If you’re in the Carolinas then please let us know which network your DSL or broadband service is on so we can build out connectivity to your provider.
Dallas is also now ready for early bird orders – there are a few offers further down in this email. This year Dallas will become a major hub for us, our parent company has acquired a 100,000 SQF datacentre which will allow us to drive down the prices both for hosting as well as colocation.
Los Angeles expansion is completed and we’ve restocked our systems. This time we have limited orders to five systems per customer. Previously when we’ve restocked our systems have gone out of stock in minutes due to reseller hoarding. We love our resellers but we need to spread the love around to all our customers.
You have the choice now of Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas, Los Angeles, New Jersey (Newport), New York (NYC) – same servers – same platform – same network!
